“Here I am closer to 40yrs rather than 30. Three kids, a very very full time stressful job. Habitual stress eater but consistent exerciser. I was pretty sure I had just resigned to the fact that I didn’t have the willpower anymore to get rid of the extra weight that didn’t come off with that third pregnancy.
It’s been 9 months, 35 ish lbs, and so so so many inches since I joined PLT Nutrition and they put me with Coach Stacy. This summer has not been a super tight summer. I’ve got to enjoy myself. I have had the cake sometimes (maybe more than sometimes in certain weeks). So yes it’s been 9 months to finally officially lose all the extra baby and stress weight I held onto for 3 years after kids but it doesn’t seem like a constant diet. It’s seems more like my life. Some weeks better than others that’s true. But not a deprived life. I’m coming up in a month or two about making a decision to officially go into maintenance. And I’m sure Stacy will guide me through how to do that like she always does, with just the right about of sarcasm and sass (totally right up my alley) to get my butt into gear and figure this out.
Summer is almost over, which for me is the hardest season to lose weight in. This summer, different than any other I have actually continued to lose a bit over the season. Wanted to post a picture with the PLT Difference from last summer to this summer to remind myself to not get too complacent as I try and lose those last few pounds to hit my new goal. But also to give a big shout out to Coach Stacy and PLT for being awesome!”

"I am so thankful that I have found a nutrition coaching company that believes in flexible dieting. I am no where perfect with my macros and at PLT, there is simply no ‘hitting numbers’ or being ‘spot on’ every day; my coach gives me range numbers to follow and off I go. Often times I even have one set of targets for weekdays and another for weekends, this gives me a real ‘lifestyle’ feel to dieting and it has been game changing for me.
Over the course of the last several months, my coach has helped me to not only understand the balance of macros, but she’s helping me change my mindset about the scale as well; showing me that a single weigh in per week does not define my progress, it’s the average of several weigh ins that represent the week as a whole and each week we watch that average trend down. This way, if my weight is a bit higher on ‘check in day’ than it was on another day in the same week, I can let go of the emotion of the number - looking at the average is such a better view.
The relaxed approach to tracking that PLT takes is so refreshing as opposed to the ‘if you bite it, write it’ mentality other companies have (meaning tracking every single morsel). Yes, if I am craving a few berries, I simply pop them into my mouth and enjoy them - no need to track, just as there’s no need to track my non starch veggies!
With my recently increased strength training through the HCOTF calendar, my improved mindset, my cardio for mental and overall health, and my PLT Nutrition plan, I am feeling amazing every day and proud of how far I have come…and looking forward to where I am heading"

"2 years ago I saw a dietitian to help shed some weight, after having two boys, my baby weight never went away. As a mom you sacrifice so much to make sure your kids have the best of everything and you forget about taking care of yourself. The dietitian told me to log what I eat and exercise and was kind enough to check in on me once a month to ask how I'm doing and what my weight was... with a large bill on top of it. I felt lost but after struggling for a year, one of my best friends made a post about PLT and her weight loss journey. My relationship with food is healthy now. It is my fuel, and I can have a little treat here and there but sometimes, I am just ok with not having one. I have learned to use nutrition labels as my friends, to understand what I am putting in my body. Even more amazing is it has rubbed off on my daughter, she is doing amazing, she checks her own labels because she has watched me do the same, asks me what she should have that day for that certain meal, if we are out to eat, she asks me to help her make a good choice. That makes this so amazing, so worth it and wanting to keep working harder. PLT has changed my life. I can't recommend it enough!"

"I had tried every diet multiple times, not realizing it isn’t about dieting, it’s about making better choices in food and quantities of food. At the beginning I was worried because I’m a picky eater, I didn’t want to eat just turkey burgers and cottage cheese, but I quickly found with PLT I can still eat most of the foods I enjoy with very few adjustments. I’ve realized that when I feed my body good food it craves good food and I don’t miss the junk I used to eat before. I want to keep eating healthy and let my body tell me where the scale should stop. Louise is an avid cyclist, clocking up a lot of weekly miles, so balancing her calories was not straightforward. We worked on some electrolyte changes and programmed calorie cycling to support her training/non training days.
