Joining PLT shortly after its inception alongside founder & CEO Paul Leonard, I found my professional home, sharing his vision and passion for enhancing the lives of men and women through a balanced and sustainable approach. My personal journey, marked by overcoming a lifelong struggle with yo-yo dieting and navigating the complexities of weight management during menopause, imbues my coaching style with a deep sense of empathy. Having discovered fitness later in life, I transitioned from a dedicated CrossFit enthusiast and competitor to someone who embraces the holistic benefits of strength training, yoga, and walking. With a coaching experience spanning over a thousand clients, predominantly women, I've worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds and athletic levels. Whether guiding everyday exercisers, women venturing into strength training, or supporting nationally ranked competitors and endurance athletes, each coaching plan is uniquely tailored—crafted like a fingerprint with PLT Foundations at its core. My personal commitment to health and wellness is intricately tied to my dedication to helping others achieve their goals. When not immersed in coaching or pursuing my own fitness objectives, you'll likely find me unwinding on a beach with a good book and my favorite music, savoring moments of relaxation and personal rejuvenation. A former competitive athlete, of 15 years, I finished my basketball career in 2011 at the NCAA Division II level at Saint Martin's University in Washington State. Unfortunately despite being a high level athlete I didn't know how to eat or exercise when it wasn't for sport. After several years of researching and trying different programs, I realized that I wanted to become a health coach so I could help other athletes find optimal support whether competing or not. In 2015 I received my Holistic Health Coaching Certification as well as becoming a certified personal trainer, the pairing enabling to create optimal health and athletic training solutions. Over the years I have worked with people in all stages of life, coaching both nutrition and fitness - from currently competing athletes to women struggling with menopause. I am now a mom to two young sons, and am back to training to reach my own fitness goals. I have found a love for endurance activities, and currently train for running, cycling and triathlon events. I was drawn to coach for PLT Nutrition because of their unique flexible approach as my own experiences in the past with dieting had always been about restriction. My love of all things Nutrition and Fitness came to me later in life. My own health journey began with the birth of my daughter, after I developed gestational diabetes. Having never thought about my weight or health prior to that time, I embarked on a path of learning. I began with walking, which lead to running a few marathons, and then moving into Crossfit both competing and leading classes. Strength training is one of the best things we can do to show our bodies love. Seeing what our bodies are capable of is an amazing feeling. As a gym owner, I work with men and women in all stages of fitness and health. I love seeing them grow to love their bodies. Being a post menopausal woman myself, I understand the frustrations that can come in this season of life. But I know that it is not the end for us. In fact, it can be quite the opposite. A whole new, wonderful chapter. Certifications CrossFit L1 Gym Owner Precision Nutrition L1 |

My passion for coaching and transforming lives is rooted in my own triumph over adversity. During the early stages of my Olympic Weightlifting career, I faced the challenges of transverse myelitis, a neurological disorder resulting in temporary paralysis due to spinal cord inflammation. With unwavering determination and a meticulously designed nutrition plan to support my healing body, I not only made a full recovery but qualified for and made my inaugural appearance on the National platform just one year later. In my personal life, my cherished moments are spent with the loves of my life - my husband, my dog, my gym, the mountains, and my family. My coaching philosophy is rooted in empathy and understanding; acknowledging the first-hand struggles of balancing fitness, a healthy lifestyle, and family life. My passion is helping others on their journey to health, fitness, and overall well-being. I understand that hormones and the demands of motherhood can create setbacks in this journey.
