What’s your name and where do you come from? Suzanne, from the UK currently living in Connecticut. Do you have a family and what’s your profession? I have 4 boys ages 4-9 and I am a Child Psychotherapist How did you get introduced to PLT?
Via a Peloton Nutrition FB group recommendation Who is your coach? Lori Carroll Name 3 things that sum up your thoughts on your coach? Caring, supportive, flexible Are you engaged in regular exercise/a sport? Yes! I follow the hardCORE calendar (strength training) religiously, cycle 3 times a week, run once a week and play tennis. How did you find your PLT onboarding experience & community experience? I think the FB group is amazing, even before I was a paying client I gained so much (free) information about macros, nutrition and lifestyle. It is obvious that Paul, Patti and the leadership team work extremely hard to give a first rate experience to their clients which although growing still manages to feel like a family. What dieting programs had you tried previously and what makes PLT standout from previous programs? Almost everything haha. The PLT difference for me is the flexibility, that there are no banned foods/food groups and a focus on long term sustainability (let’s face it - the only success marker for a diet). What was your driving reason for joining PLT? I’d made some good weight loss progress on my own but for me the growth area is maintenance long term - that is what I wanted coaching around, i.e. sustainable lifestyle/habit changes. How much weight have you lost with PLT? I lost a total of 31 lbs! How many total inches have you lost with PLT? I lost 22 total inches from my body! How have you increased your nutritional education since PLT? Yes, hugely and I’m still learning. What 1 piece of advice would you give to people considering joining PLT or new members? Do it! Use the community, ask for help. If you can fully adhere/commit to this, results are inevitable! Comments are closed.
